You might feel more secured when you see a dive guide on your way to your diving destination. On the contrary, dive guides are not there to keep you safe. Rather, they are there to assess the suitability and safety of the dive site. Moreover, they would act as your tour guide most of time.

Dive masters have specialized responsibilities when conducting guided dives. Here are some of the key roles of a dive guide that you need to know about.
